Making and saving money
Nov. 8th, 2011 05:30 amI'm in Chicago (actually Lombard) for a hearing, and the Embassy Suites wants $12.95 to use the wireless internet. No, and I won't be returning to this hotel. I don't mind them trying to make extra money on extras, but some over the top efforts make me not return - the $3 water bottle in my room (dusty at that), the charge for internet, and the fact the terminal I'm using for free is slow as living hell and is bing dominated...you type google into the address bar and it shows you bing search results including a handy link to bing? So if this is slow for the internet, why would I consider paying for this slow internet?
While typing was warned that due to "inactivity" I'll be disconnected in 28 seconds.
Whatcha get for gov't rate I guess.
