Foiled squirrels
Oct. 12th, 2011 08:12 amThis year the squirrels started eating the plastic off my windows again. Happily while the "critter ridder" pepper stuff, which no longer squirts out of the bottle, is of negligible effectiveness and great brown mess - it turns out wrapping the plastic in foil keeps them away.
Downside - there is foil wrapped around the outside of my window frames. Tré ghetto.
Work is forcibly deleting firefox from my computer, so I'll be 100% ie. Ew.
Today I pick up a cake from cakelove a la groupon or living social. While ordering I got a cupcake, and even after waiting the requisite uncool time, it was still fantastic texture and no taste. No taste. I'm scared my fat-inducing cake will have no taste, and I may need to douse this upper crush cake with powdered sugar like salt on a diner breakfast. Am I ghetto in my taste, or is the cake simply tasteless? Oh I hope this cake is good - I want to believe in the lawyer to baker dream.
