Nov. 1st, 2010 07:09 amI am so disappointed in all of you. Here:

Duh. What, nobody watched the movie about a slacker, indie rock, video games, dyed bobs, and kung fu? I'm not sure I have any pictures (mine were awful) so I'll have to see if I got otherwise captured. I noticed one guy walking around taking pictures only took pictures of girls (or so it seemed). Patrick got one, but I know he only puts up shots that don't suck.
I admit a little moment of sad when I realized as I stood alone for a bit crowd-eye-surfing that just a year ago I was in partner costume with Janna. Boo. Oh well - she'll be with me (most likely, work allowing) tonight. Go team venture!
Tonight we're watching Machete in the drunkhouse. I suppose you never heard of that movie either? Grr...
Rally #s are coming in:

not only did it blow away the Beck moment of hate, but it seems it blew away other gathering of nutjob loyalists such as the pomisekeepers (remember that mess?)

Ugh, the Post is annoying me in terms of forcing you to watch ads before showing pictures. This article is kinda lame:

This article notes, and I agree, the estimates are too low. This from me who gave up on metro and walked about 4 miles to get home and was with a huge crowd doing the same, taking taxis, and generally just hanging out downtown. We never GOT TO THE RALLY so I'm not sure how the count is affected. Yay - a vocal minority is not a mandate!
Janna and I are going to vacation in Williamsburg this weekend. I'm already practicing my responses to teabaggers trying to ruin it for everyone with their bile and spit like they did last time (and there are so many people asking the actor playing Washington "How do you advise we overthrow a tyrancial government?" that they're in the news).

Excuse me, I'm not from this area so while I appreciate my friend's line of questioning, it seems quite exhausted. I am from a place where we have free elections, free speech, and a representative democracy. However, a small vocal minority is threatening violence because their unilateral demands, defeated by repeated votes, are not being met. It's quite like a campaign of terror...
