Feb. 20th, 2010 07:41 amI worked late last night in hope of receiving something in email on an important project - wasn't told until around 6 that I won't have it until at least Monday. So I settled in and planned out the next day's work. It wasn't until I was half-way into a tv showing of one of the matrix sequels that I realized I had never once thought about going out and doing something. Work has taken over.
Today I could go to the coffee shoppe, see friends at the market and get fresh goods, hell even hit the gym, but all I want to do is have a draft of the hearing brief done before I "allow" myself to do anything - coffee almost slips in as a writing enhancer.
Work is so important. Nothing else.
This can't be right.
