Dec. 10th, 2009 07:55 pm11 hour day of high-level meetings. However, progress. However, meetings. My (biggish-boss) is doing the same thing I did - working through his entire vacation. Makes it very easy to volunteer to work long, as I did today. I was there when his daughter called. He is clearly not going to be doing these types of hours for long - neither me be.
The problem here is when I get my leave I don't want to play, I just need to rest and recover.
Wore a cow-skull bolo tie today. I kinda like the bolo - gotta work that Latino thing sometimes, right? It's as easy as a clip-on tie, only without the mall-cop ability to rumble with 17 year olds safely.
Jon Stewart is funny. Ever heard of him? Yeah, he's funny. Unghhhhhhh
A coworker I liked died of cancer. It was no surprise, but it's still weird.
