Irony today was finding that a question I marked wrong I got right...so I had the same score as the bragging guy, only I never told anyone in the class. Had something interesting to say about class but can't remember what it was. I swear.

Got a message that my old boss that I liked for years is getting tumors removed. Seriously, it's a big week for cancer.

Dad is unexpectedly in the hospital about to get his head cut open. His tumor is the in the frontal lobe and is about 3x5cm. I think it might be an oyster. They might cut it out tomorrow or in the next few days, and if it extends into some nearby part that controls motor functions he could be paralyzed. In the lobe is not a big deal they say due to function redundancy, but the motor areas are not so forgiving. If the tumor is in there they will leave it and try to address those parts slowly with dolphin-lasers or chemicals. I'm going to try and convince him to keep the part of his skull the cut open on hinges so he won't have to carry a wallet.

I just knew some asshole in my family would die right before / during the bar exam. Like crabs in a fucking basket we are, won't let anyone get ahead.
