(no subject)

Today in the gym I mentioned to an attorney that I had been working since 6am the day prior on my outline and wasn't done yet. Her eyes bugged. I get lots of little reminders that it takes me 2-4 times as long to get the same (actually less) results than my law-school-peers. Most people don't seem to study for 2-3 days straight, but if they did, they'd get better than Bs on the curve.

I'm never watching CSI again. I flip it on when I eat or something, and will get sucked in as they are drawing blood out of a dead person's severed eyeball (complete with nerve). I have just seen horrid story after horrid story: home invadors rape 16 year old virgin, who is then executed on her lawn when she is convinced to ID perp in lineup; man accused of murdering his wife, then of fucking his daughter, then of getting her pregnant - when it turns out the daughter was a virgin with a hysterical pregnancy they find the daughter killed mom out of jealousy because she wanted dad's lovin (they never apologize to the dad for the false accusations; rather, they comment he knows nothing about any of the "women in his life"); pretty girl with drug problem owes dealer money - he gives her a bag of drugs and the opportunity to earn back the money she owes, her brother takes her drugs and flushes them down the toilet, when the girl reports this to the dealer he beats her to death thinking she's just ripping him off for more drugs - the brother asks the cop if he knows why the dealer killed his sister (knowing the truth that it was due to the brother's good intentioned bad result actions) and he says no...I'm just done with all the sad stories.

A post about tv. I'm hurting from studying. I'm in physical pain from sitting in a chair for so long. Neck, shoulders, and back hurt. One thing about this week of not-in-school: I work out a lot more when I'm not in school.
