I went to Baltimore yesterday to visit Ms. Michelle and Nixie. That took me back, having dated Jill who lived on Falls Road. I forgot how many people in B'more walk around with their shirts off. I saw more arguments on the street...I may be from Gaithersburg, but us country folk have nothing on the rednecks in Baltimore (right Wendy?) I think I had a 40-50 year old woman in short-shorts scope me out as trick-bait on the way out - not sure.

I also forgot how beautiful Baltimore is. I missed my turn, and went down a street past the court area. Baltimore rules for having the block by a cop station (I think both are still there). I passed a bail bonds "store," which was in the most gorgeous stone building with odd numbers etched in the front along with a giant lion head. The new buildings look like ass as they do everywhere, but there are lots of classic oldies I hope they preserve. The worst new feature on buildings, both in Baltimore and DC, is the "wing." More and more buildings are putting odd wing-like frames on the top of awnings and building tops. They look stupid now, but I tell you in 10-30 years it'll be as painfully dated to see as marymount U's giant aqua-blue building in Arlington. Never go with non-neutral colors in major construction! I wish you could do shorts on real-estate - I'd short every building with a giant fucking wing on it.

They took down the tops of the nation sign...this almost made me cry.
EDIT - OMG Tony put them on his fucking shed...see 2501's post lol

Michelle is doing a little better. Not sure how I am. Now, work...

This is what I want in a club. Mostly the music, but the vid is nice. I've been calling this electroclash - right label?
