Ipod sucks. No really, it sucks. Isn't this society fragmented enough? Now your musical experience is 100% in isolation. Part of the fun of hearing a song you like on the radio is knowing that somewhere out there another geek is enjoying the same thing. What are the odds on your Ipod?

Also, the equipment blows. Am I wrong, or do you get no bass from earbuds that face directly towards your head? Real earbud headphones angle forward in the ear canal to get the base into your damn skull directly. The only way to get real sound out of earbuds is to turn them around and face the frong, making you look like a raving dork. The box? Yay, a rectangle the size of a box of cigarettes to haul around.

Stupid investing sure, irresponsible and no reason to take credit for the luck...but I have to admit that this is fun.
