Gold's gym in Rosslyn has started a boxing fundamentals class on Sat/Sun 12:45-2:15! Dood! Absofuckinglutely incredible! I went there after my usual boxing class and ran into an old boxing-at-gold's classmate. He's the one who emailed me to tell me about the class. I showed up and they were showing a group of about 10 people how to do basic moves, while my bud (no I don't know his damn name shut up) was working on the heavy bag. I stood in the class just to be polite, but the instructor kinda moved me over to the bag. 3 hours of boxing today...I am one tired little muffin glove. Shit, now I have to go to that boxing party too. Busy day. Hmm...hot girls in Gold's, and a big window, and I look kinda good boxing...now there's some showing off potential.
I was watching people who don't know how to box and watching both my friend from the old class, and the general manager of gold's work. I forget how far I've come, but it seems my form is pretty tight when you stop comparing me to professional boxers. To my surprise my friend noticed that I had beefed up as well. So I suck, but substantially less. If I could have the boxing class at gold's again, my god that would rock. The trainer is an ex-pro, the general manager is on board...I might really get some giant steps out of this.
On another subject boxing boxing boxing boxing boxing boxing boxing boxing boxing boxing and more boxing! Did I mention that happy posts suck, and that I can't express happy? I'm happy! More boxing! Ow!
