Argh what a letdown. So, I was assuming at 9am they'd tell me if I got the promotion or not. No! Denied! I mean not denied, denied would be nice. No, I didn't realize the person who is acting has also applied for the position, and she's a 13 not a 12 so she has a shot. They are having me detail for the position for 60 days as a temp 14, then she'll do 60 days. I almost said the hell with it at that. Ugh. I was looking forward either to the money or to the relief of getting to stick with what I know. I don't like this stupid dance I'm supposed to do now. A GS-14 sounds like a big deal if you're not already a 13.

All I want now is a nap.
