Spiderman 2: it was a laudable goal to show depth to these characters. It was a goal not realized, and what the audience gets for those failed errorts is a movie that is long, dull, painfully dull, and perhaps so dull you hope people's cell-phones go off. I mean this thing is a real bomb. I've heard a lot of critics speak highly of the effort, and many of my friends liked this movie. I however, would have walked out if I had realized earlier that my friend didn't like it either. It's a rare day when I start wishing it was just an action flick, but I was.

Argh - Strange Boutique is quite funny for me right now. I've been listening to what appears to be the CD "Charm" by the cover and artwork on the CD, but registers in the media player as "Loved one." This would be easy for me to figure out if I could just understand the words, but with all the echo-ey vocals I can't fathom a bloody word so even with the lyric sheets I can't understand a word and remain in the dark.

Freaks me out how music can rip emotions from you when people can't.

Wouldn't it be convenient if you could see who...what someone was by looking at them? If someone dull as a rock looked...like a rock (a dull one!)? If someone happy looked happy, full of pain looked hurt, if some...perhaps people do look like this already, and I just can't see it. I understand I'm as transparent as an aquarium fish.

My response to the form letter received from the nazis in VA:

I could not agree with you any less on this issue. I feel that there is nothing about the concept of gay marriage that affects heterosexual marriage in the least. I cannot fathom this fear that someone allowing gay people to marry will inspire people to what...turn gay? It seems that people who are gay are just that - gay. I don't hear much about 'them' recruiting.

I am disappointed that you feel this way, but it is appreciated that you do express your views clearly.
