Last night I gave out around 1am - the show wasn't even over. It was the second night in a row that smoke forced tears from my eyes in droves. I tried moving around, I tried going to less smokey areas, but it wasn't enough. Anticipating the smoke after dying on Friday, I took claritin - but it made no dent in the onslaught. I can handle the Edge and Nation, but I think I have to give up on staying past midnight in any small venues. It's just not worth it to me.

Siddal was amazing, Ascension put on a farewell performance, and Strange Boutique was FULL of energy. I feel horrible for missing the last part of their set.

I don't know if I'm going to FU. I was going to watch the explodey - but the rain was just sick for hours and hours today. I went down and got CHOCOLATE from Lindt, and was worried about making it back! I'm not a DC driver who either can't drive in the rain or acts like it's the same as dry pavement - but it was so hard that the entire road was giving resistance as it was too much water to run off. It was so dense and heavy that you couldn't really see out the windshield at speeds over 30-40. It's going to be wet as hell even if there are boom-booms. Still - it was worth it to get to drive in the insanity while listening to nature's own boom-booms. Me like!

I'm kinda tired and burnt out - I might make it but if I don't my apologies to everyone else who is going.
