Supreme Court strikes down Texas sodomy laws tee-hee!
Sha-wheet! Finally I can have gay sex w/o committing felonies! Man, like reaching the drinking age or decriminalization of drugs, that takes some of the fun out of it.
Can gay sex still be morally bad even if it's legal? There has to be some "we shouldn't" in it to entice us, right?
In all seriousness, this is an awesome ruling striking down anti-gay and sodomy laws in all states. The 6-3 ruling shows a major shift compared to prior. Gee, Rein Scalia and Thomas dissented. Um, Scalia and Reiny I can see, but our old porno-head Thomas? You'd think this would slip by his personal radar...but we thought that about Affirmative Action too, huh? Did anyone notice the decision mentioned Thomas himself as a pro-AA argument? Nice stuff there!
