I don't think anyone reads what I write. After posting about politics, I scanned my f-list and saw many of the same things I wrote 'discovered' as though they were new. No one seems to get the St. Patty day issue. It seems everyone but me is filtering. Why write if people don't read.

Mood=dejected, I mean I could just talk to my fucking self. Cut me if you don't read this shit.

EDIT - GRUMP Grump grump mumble...
RE-EDIT: I wasn't complaining about people not commenting!!!

I don't know WHO you were talking about, but sometimes I post before I read my friends list.
And I'm going to guess that some people don't have time to read every day.

St. Paddy's day is over. Now we get to talk about Ostara and the vernal equinox.
And then, April Fool's Day!

I read your political posts and absorbed enough frighteningly bad info in a short amount of time that my brain went right past outraged rant to sputtering incoherently. I've spent the last couple of days doing the mental equivalent of hiding under the covers and sucking my thumb. Now if you don't mind I'm going to start clicking my heels together. There's no place like home, There's no place like home ...

Well, that didn't work.

I mean I could just talk to my fucking self.

You mean you weren't already??

I'm joking. I read everything although I almost never comment. This annoys the hell out of me when people do it to me so I'll try to say more here.

It's not the lack of comments, it's reading my friend's list the next day...and seeing people scream about the articles I posted a day or two before as though they were new. It's people who don't know (or care, another issue) that St. Pat's day is a celebration of a rich english guy murdering pagans.

I'm quite used to low comments - much of what I write isn't comment generating per se.

Kinda - the impression that people were discovering information I had posted days (or in some cases weeks) ago as though it was new. It just showed they weren't reading.

I wouldn't mind that from the fluffy twits that post quiz results or say ARE YOU GOING TO NIATON !?!? but it seems to be fairly bright peopel. Maybe I rant too much, or post too many articles to look at.

hey, i've swiped articles from you in the past few days, even! >;) although you and eva and a couple other people tend to post about similar things, so it just depends on who posts it first.

keep talkin'; you know some of us are reading, mr. crankypants.

Actually you tend to be one of the people on my list I don't typically skip. And if I post something very similar to you politically its often because we seem to agree on a lot, or I saw your post and wated to add my 2 cents. :-p

While normally I find your posts interesting or at least entertaining, in this case vicar, I say "fuck off".

Sometimes it takes people a couple of days of hearing/reading about something for it to really sink in. Sometimes we prefer to create our own posts because we're interested in what our own (potentially fictional) reading audience has to say about it. When an issue is coming at you from multiple sources, I don't think you're particularly bound to credit them all.

And I don't see how you can get all pissy about people filtering when you freely post stuff that many may not consider work safe.

Or maybe I'm just in a foul mood today. I should have gone for the drinking option last night.

I like it when you take the time to say fuck off. There is something very genuine about that.

Er, not work safe? I thought I was pretty good about telling when my posts fell in that category!?

Your ex-pain-ation makes sense. I've also had more caffeine.

Um, I do sometimes miss posts because I haven't logged in all day and they're pages and pages back. But I do *usually* read you, honest.
