Mar. 8th, 2004 07:41 amI am one tired muffin, but I am tired from one of the best weekends I've had in forever...or December. Someting like that.
Saturday night I drove home, and feeling burned out from SP's bites & remission, I tuned into WETA. God knows what show I bumped into, but after seeing some of my favorite pagan renfest pensiggy geeks the folk - baroque music was right on cue. So was the host, explaining her entire personal schedule with a complete lack of any sort of professionalism and saying she simply wouldn't have the 3-4 weeks of backlogged playlists up until, well maybe next monday...it was like hearing a tape made by your mom. The music...wow. What's funny is weird tribal, folk, and 'organic' music is about the only type I can reliably say I'll like. I blasted the traditional instruments and simple voices all the way home.
I've had a lot of confusing conversations this weekend. I feel good though.
I never made the gym, but kelowna and I put a good 20 miles on the insanely paved & painted trails around NoVa. The wind was annoying but made sure that we worked the whole way. Spooge and rocks. My ass is sore like my man is bony or something. Starsky & Hutch wasn't so much funny as fun to watch - full of fun campy items. Could have lived w/o the 'acting gay is so funny becuase it strips away your manliness' routine, but that is appealing to the mainstream. Gay = hte funny.
Last night I was home in time to catch Hearts of space again a la WETA. I stayed up just long enough to stick batteries in the new weather station, and found the humidity in the place was 57%. Today the dehuidifier is running while I work.
Law school did do one thing - make me appreciate how much time I do have when I'm not in it. I'm back to thinking of a 40 hour work week as a vacation.
