I'm getting a pet! I don't know what kind yet, I think a cat because I'm away so much it wouldn't be fair to get a dog. Maybe a chinchilla, if you can litter train them. I don't want a pet, or the burden of all that extra cleaning, or the vet bills. It's just that...well if I have a pet, then I won't technically be talking to myself, right?

I cannot tell you how much I don't care about M. Jackson, but I was making fun of Brooke Shields for contracts the other day. A comparison:
Brooke Shields: 5'11", 130 lbs
Did kiddie erotica at 13 with parental consent
Michael Jacko: 5'11", 120 lbs
Did kiddie performances as instructed by abusive father
(later behavior to be determined in court, innocent until proven otherwise)

What, being famous prevents having a burrito once in a while? All that money and you can't eat food? I am 5'5", 145 for comparison. Granted I have a lot of muscle, and the last 5 lbs is definately flub, but compare me to these freaks!

may I recommend a python

Not that much clean up, not that much energy, and you get to feed it mice!

They poop anywhere, and I'd want to train it to eat tofu.

I don't know if chinchillas can be litter trained, but they're small enough that you can keep them in a cage while you're out. You'll also have to keep a bowl of pumice around for it to roll in.

(I almost owned a chinchilla)

You don't want a pet, don't get a pet. Know who has a lot of pets? Michael Jackson!

I'm pretty sure Brooke's kiddie erotica all used other (older) actresses as body doubles. I remember reading that they added nude scenes to the Blue Lagoon after she finished her part of the filming, thus creating a movie that she was too young to go see in the theater. Her mom is/was a complete nutcase, though -- much like the parents of any kid who had permission to sleep at Neverland!

I'm kidding about the pet - just making fun of ME for talking to myself. If I talk to god or a cat, I'm _not_ crazy. I tend to say conclusions or rules out loud...like a mental highlighter.

Ya know, it's perfectly ok to talk to yourself. It's when you begin to answer and have full blown arguments that it begins to get a little iffy (notice I said begins)

Dang. I was having fun imagining you going into a pet store, and being like, "Yeah, I'd just looking for something cuddly and low maintenance, y'know, that doesn't shed. Or urinate."

Pets are good

THey don't judge, well my pet does, but generally they keep their opinions to themselves. Our household dog loves you just for wearing sleeves.
