There is this scene in Jeffrey, where Jeffrey has just turned down hunkyman flat because he's HIV positive, tells him as much. Hunkyman tells him to fuck himself because he's glad, he's glad he got to know this about him before he wasted his damn good time. He jogs up the stairs and into his unit, where he falls back on the door (my memory edit).

You see him struggle with the feelings; he starts to fall, he wraps his arms around himself. He turns on the clubmusik and bumps his body to the music. He forces himself up, his body into motion; he puts his arms out and spins, spins around. It hurts but he will not give into that feeling, pushes pushes pushes

I'm verging on worried about you. But then I re-read this and I think, no, this is facing shit head-on and moving forward. Pushing. Not ignoring, but not falling. A healthy, strong response.
