Self-centered selfish cunt ohhi. I am not feeling mature.

I'm in Des Moines, or rather by the airport, where I just had surprisingly good tex-mex food in a place filled with neon signs that ways eat in or take out. It wasn't groundbreaking, but 16 oz margaritas of questionable lineage at $4.25 worked well with burritos made with white meat freshly grilled.

I'm still on a work high, with a top annual rating, some wins, and a bunch of positive input from various attorneys and managers. For instance today some managers came to me because they have a bunch of fitness for duty exams they thought they needed to do...and I got the Agency/taxpayer saving chance to point out the law that essentially forbade that course of action entirely. Related, I'm in the field and prepared to depose a psychiatrist - who appears to have declared someone found both insane and a safety risk to be perfectly sane, except he did note her poor hygiene. He's only licensed since 2010 - should be a hoot. I won't mention my psyc degree, though honestly I don't think it really helps me much in this case . Still, deposing oposing experts and med/psyc professionals raises my marketability to a new level.

I've been taking vacations from doing the right thing all the time. I feel like cashing in credit, even if that only means selfishly playing video games alone.

This was supposed to be a prelude to an actual post but that's sort of escaped me.

Oh um surgery, house, car, romance, tissue.

Tissue? Isn't that surgery? Or, like, Kleenex? Are you crying again?! Geez.

I love how you think your psyc degree gives you an edge over the psychiatrist. I mean, it might, but it also sounds kind of arrogant and would probably offend me if I were a specialist who'd gone to umpteen years of med school and had been practising for four years. Any time you need insight into the crazy, call me up. I have years of lived experience. In fact, now that I think about it, I'm sure I've been crazier longer than my current shrink has been working in the field. And yet, I still bother seeking her advice...

I said, clearly in this rare exception, "honestly I don't think it really helps me much in this case" How is that arrogant? If I know anything, it's because expert counsel told me what to do, I researched like crazy...and unmentioned is I spent time talking to actual expert psychiatrists to get ready. No I'm not exaggerating when I say my degree won't help me. Still, I'll keep it under wraps in case he tries to blow smoke I can see through on my own.

If I don't respect him, it's because some 30 year experts called this person not fit for duty and a risk to others, which is currently playing out and she scares the shit out of me (and this is the US so she may shoot me), while this guy fresh out of school with a child-psyc focus said "Sure, send her back to work right now, the other guys have no idea what they're talking about.

I'm misreading you all over the place.

I'm sorry.

Heh - turnabout fair play?
I didn't answer why I was using female anatomy as a profanity.
I'm jumbled as I focus on work on travel living out of hotels.

Not offended at all!
