Not so much going on - I've paid 3/4 of the payments, though I could argue I've paid sooner than planned as this was supposed to be a post-framing payment...but the basement is still floorless. I swapped some emails with Jordan this weekend, he admitted he may have been a tad optimistic about the schedule. I have wires, coax and ethernet too, but still no fixtures or drywall.
He thinks he's getting me a list of change orders soon.
CO insulation floors 2-3 $1,340.00
Spray foam (1") F/B $900.00
Exterior doors $5,000.00 ???
hvac basement $10,000.00 ???
Floors mat (possible more labor) $1,722.00
Appliances main floor
Appliances basement
Possible pavers driveway? Bid pending
I don't have a clear idea of when I might move in - he says once drywall goes up it's super fast. Ok, but how long for the floors, fixtures, then silly paint? Then what about running water, a/c, and anything that has to do with the basement?
We have all the permits now, but need a final inspection before "close in" (the drywall).
I have all these things I actually have to do some day, like make that collage of "before" pictures, get furniture, rent places out, just...all the little things that need doing.
However, I do have a fuckton of annual leave, more than a week a month, of use or lose. Plus the niceness of not having to move in 100 deg heat?
