Pictures pending

Visited my house with the contractor today, and was surprised they completely took out the walls. There is no cost associated with this, but it leaves me in a bit of a lurch where suddenly I really need to reevaluate the layout - I now have the potential to have 2 full baths and 3 full bedrooms instead of having the back bedroom be tiny.
The window in the mater bedroom was a floor to ceiling window - we thought it was a door until Jordan spotted one remaining pulley (and Scott compared to the neighbor's). However, since I'm blowing up the ceiling to the doghouse windows, and there are windows on both sides - I think, unless I hear convincing argument, that I'm going to just leave it as wall (so I have a good place to put the bed).
To my stunned sadness, naked black baby doll is gone. They were so thorough they pulled out the broken part of the banister and removed all the junk. Now she just lives in pictures...and nightmares.
Nightmares.
My decision to gut - 200% reinforced. There were 2 or more broken joists on both floors under the bathrooms. The worst had a 2x6 nailed into the side of it - but not connected to the walls on either end; it put more weight on weakened structure. Then someone cut through the reinforcing joist supports on top of that. I think one full bathtub could have put the tub in the basement. Jordan predicted that from the slopes in the doors, floors, and ceiling, and noted this was already built into the bid price. My living room and bedroom have reinforcing and replacing joists ready to go.
I took a lot of pictures, but I just got back and am tired.
