Gentrify your body

It occurs to me that trying to look healthy by doing cardio is like trying to gentrify the city by removing poor people. It's insane to try and remove what you don't like without adding what you want in the place.

The body looks good with muscle - some people try to remove the fat around their body, but lack muscle to both help and display. That fat has to go somewhere.

I'm hoping to be a gentrified part of the city - good muscle, not overdone, very efficient, but with small pockets of subsidized assistance around the mmiddle - not so much as to drag anyone else down.

Gentrify your body. I like this line of thought.

Oh, back from LA and dragging, fucking dragging, but with a smile still on my face.

now, that old, lead pipe water main, and the sewer system itself, they could stand an upgrade.

I've always understood that a combination of cardio and strength training are the way to go.

Ditto. And ya know gentrification is a pejorative, right? It's a force that pushes out people who then have to move farther from the city. But the city needs those people to do work, so it has to build ways to bring them back into the city.

You need to be strong, but you also need endurance, which requires reserves.

I am a pejorative rant rabble!
