vicarzI bought the victrola, using my cc over the phone. I'll get the delivery sometime mid-September (he's going to drive it down and perhaps visit DC with his daughter he says, sounds cute). He calls it the fourteen, I say X I V out loud. I'm happy, sure it's $800 when perhaps I could find it for 4-500, but damnit I'll have it complete with the record books! I can still make rent this month...
Highlighting habbits are weird. Next to me a man highlights every bold section heading, and bullet. Not even the bullet point, just the bullet. Idiot. In front of me a woman highlights full paragraphs, 50-70% of each page is bright yellow. The man beside me is just sleeping.
Dell just told me they shipped my laptop yesterday. Yesterday I bought a laptop from Best Buy, which should I return it has a 15% restocking fee - about 150 on the thing that cost 1g. Dell has said they will arrange their return, but I've asked if perhaps we can work something out. I wish the morons had NOT told me that it would be shipped the 25th - I wouldn't have cancelled the order! The Dell would have slightly better specs and a much better warrantee than the Toshiba, at about the same price.
By the end of today I'll be caught up in 2 of 4 classes, or that's my plan. There is one class that assigned 3 chapters already that I have not completed quite yet, or started for that matter. I have to clean the house before the party, so it can get trashed.
