Pointless update
Does anyone want a Teak wood desk - left handed? It's heavy but nice, has a locking drawer. I'll help move but don’t' have a truck. It's fucking heavy.
My mom was in town so I sort of disappeared for a week. She's good and it was a good visit, though I'm kind of sick of walking around slowly. To top that off, I walked around slowly at a home walk through historic Hyattsville with C, which was more home porn than watching HGTV. I learned: a) it doesn't require the gay gene to home porn, but it helps, b) some places forbid mcmansions, c) Hyattsville is a cult and I think I like the initiation fee, d) other people get that thing in their back that tightens up when you stand and walk slowly for hours.
I play a lot of Diablo. A lot. I killed D in norm dif but am thinking of chilling the fuck out because I'm otherwise busy. Sadly I realized I could have researched, demolished, and remodeled my bathroom by now with the effort put into my video games. On the other hand, I think I'd like a nice back yard so I can sit out there with my beer and play Diablo outside on the porch at night.
I like lifting weights and how it makes me feel, but I doubt it'll ever get me a date. In fact, I think there may be an inverse relationship there. Oh, except with men. I'm not feeling that man thing right now anyway.
Work is exploding - we lost 2/5 employees in my group and 3 managers out of 6 total. I have a sweet deal here sure, but just as the weather is lovely and I could be playing video games by an open window I'll instead be working at home for long hours next to the open window.
While my mom was here I put her in the main bedroom and took the futon-y thing in the office/2nd br. The night she arrived it rained, and of course the roof and hence my ceiling leaked. Kind of annoying, but minimal damage was done and I get my cracks and paint fixed out of it. Huge downside is having to move everything out for a while. Hence killing that desk I'm sick of.
I may try to mix in some other remodeling while it's going on. I may not.
Typewriter, Smith Bros No 2 may sell for 100-500 depending on condition and patience of the seller. Man it's pretty - sadly researching it many remaining are being butchered for typewriter keys to use as art. I mean I like key art, but feel by losing the machines we're losing more than we're gaining.

I'm slowly starting to get more into Diablo, but, there is still a ton that I have no clue about. It also feels kind of easy compared to WoW but, maybe it's just because I'm still so early in the game.

I'm thinking of backing off Diablo - I got past him but it's so slow...very grindy. I've played a lot and learned the basics, but am really busy with other things...
famous last (addicted) words...and yeah it's easy. The reason bliz made so much money was they took D&D and dumbed it down to a near console version. Dumb makes money.
