I totally understand about the club comments, and am glad I found somewhere I like. But you and I have differing opinions on the EBM stuff which I hear as 80's synth slightly sped up and you hate. On the other hand, power noise and what I call speed-metal industrial could go away and I wouldn't miss a 'note'.
If you ever come out here for an actual vacation (or work that you can schedule better) you'd probably love Disko Nekro - old goth and synth in one room, punk/ska/rockabilly on the patio, and old school stompy industrial in the back room. Lots of pretty people, but more grown up than the crowd at Bunker and my favorite of the clubs here. Sadly it's only once a month - third saturday, and I think the bar sucks because they don't stock disaronno (but rail drinks are like $3 each all night and my bartenders really pour well there).
