I kind of want to go on a coffee date and may yet take myself on one, though I've decided to stay home and work. I have many works to work so I'm working many works. I may yet just go out and have a brownie cupcake though. Or not. Or I will.

To my dismay I just scanned what is playing at the arlington cinema and draft house - Bridesmaids and Hangover 2, plus comedy. Fuck you mainstream, and goodbye drunkhouse. I guess the brown flip-flops are a good business model.

Now that I don't need my car for work commuting at all, I just got my NO CAR TAX bill. Remember they elected that moron based on 3 words, and he ska-rewed NoVa that elected him as all us whiny liberals predicted? My assessed value is $3175, of which the first $3k is waived for a bill of $5.95, plus a lovely $33 decal fee. How to get elected with 3 syllables, as narrated by the republican party. I'd rather have someone smack their sweaty testicles on my forehead.

I got a nail brush but it doesn't work as well as I hoped - my feet still taste horrible.

Whatever you do, don't dent that sticker. It's worth more than the car.

I could use it to hold the bumper on...

Eh. The Drunkhouse has good weeks and bad weeks. Usually, it's one comedy or drama for the early show, and one brainless action movie for the late show. They got one screen, only so much they can do..,

Rose colored glasses maybe, but I recall them showing less stupid movies a short time ago. Romantic comedy and frat humor seems to be their current monotone.

I haven't seen it but "Bridesmaids" is supposedly a pretty good movie, done by the "Freaks and Geeks" guy.

don't knock 'bridesmaids'...i almost peed myself. it was honestly really funny. probably funnier if you've ever been the odd one out in a wedding party, but still good. 'hangover 2', i haven't seen, but i don't know if it would be as good as the first. (and frankly, i thought 'hot tub time machine' was funnier.

ps : every time i pass (or dare stop in) ackc, i think of you.

I am honored! I may make an icon of my super-gay-sundae...

Maybe the title mislead me into thinking twit/douche on the movies. I'm not going to rush to check them out though.

Eh. You've been here longer, so you probably have a better perspective, but in my time here, it's always been a second-run movie theater, which largely restricts them to A: whatever was playing in the first-runs 2 months ago, B: whatever someone is willing to pay them to play ("Atlas Shrugged"), and C: very(!) occasionally, an art film of some particular merit.
