Ugh - I'm up early and will be flying to LA shortly. You'd think I'd be happy, but it's highly likely the trip will be cancelled while I'm in flight or in any case before my deposition on Thur. I could really use the time in the office, but since the Commission hasn't issued an order I am obligated to carry on until an order is issued (or the pick up the fucking phone).

I see a lateral job open at NSF.

I wouldn't mind being stuck in the "air" but I'm coordinating visits with friends in / around LA. Lucky they don't seem to mind me being flighty. Still - I like to plan and control my life and not knowing which way the Judge will act, whether the twit will show for the depo, and how to jump mid-trip to hanging with friends drives me mildly batty.

The gym yesterday was not a complete failure, but my overhead presses were weak. My shoulders and elbows all seem to be creaky in general. Age? I just wish I had been this together mentally before my body fell apart.

I should post pictures to celebrate more naked congressmen.

Where in la and how long?

Well right now I'm in West Covina for at least today, tomorrow is unclear. Then I'm staying with friends over the weekend.

Will try! I only warn you my schedule is not my own since this is a work trip - then I'll be more downtown. I probably can't catch the band but will try to snag you for food if I am able - would be really cool!
