If you only make it occasionally, I'd suggest you make it more regular - and point out if you do it "part-time" it's far more important that you do it right. Irregular activities are, to me, those far more likely to lead to an injury. Weekend warriors fill the emergency rooms because the high activity after weeks in cubicle hell are too extreme a contrast.
