I haven't seen it...but I have low expectations about these things, and thus am generally pleased by them. The review you linked said it was the "best Chronicles of Narnia movie never made"...that's probably enough to make me like it.
I don't expect profundity or depth from these big-budget affairs. I just expect spectacle and storytelling on a juvenile level. That doesn't mean I think idiocy like Transformers 2 or 2012 or Indiana Jones #17 1is acceptable...there are some things that are too grave an insult to the intelligence.
