When work backs up...when am I not scrambling? Does this ever end? I'm stuck in a cycle of working too hard and then when I have time off just spending that time recovering. I put out fires but never get to the point of building anything.

Hardly thinking about or doing anything else. I was about to post a lot about work, but instead I'll just admit this is out of hand - and go back to working. Toodles.

And on a Saturday no less! I cannot believe it.

I've been doing job applications for hours after I finnished my work-work. I feel good about the fact my KSAs are up to date, pissed that I still need to pull more recent writing samples, and of course annoyed that my day of rest has this stuck in the middle of it. Bleah!

BUT this AM was coffee with my boo (then just me reading with way too much coffee in world cafe) and tonight will be other beverages in a recreational indoor venue for an informal electronic music festival while it snows.

Sucks to be working all the time but it's good that you're lining up your next job already. Hope you get a little time to relax and unwind.

Glad to hear about the job search. Did you find a good book on writing KSA's or are you just talented on your own? I dread writing them.

It isn't talent to do KSAs - it's a lack of will to say "Fuck you for being so goddamn stupid." They just utterly suck.

How to do them: (old links but nothing's changed)
