(no subject)

7am your time but 6 here in the twin cities (but I'm only in one of them) and I'm in the office working goofing off. As a present, one of the HR people gave me a copy of my new salary and bonus information. I got an outstanding performance review, but I'm really disappointed in the result. On a % basis,
bonus 3% (before taxes of course)
salary increase 6%
I hate to sound ungrateful, but as I racked up 130 hours comp time, even as I know that the economy sucks and I'm reaping in the benefits of choosing a stable and secure place to work while others went after fun or high-flying risky careers, I expected more. It seems work remains it's own reward.
And now back to work.
Perhaps watching "Devil's Advocate" on the tv isn't the best way to start a weekend work day...
