Drew wonders why it took Avatar, a movie about blue aliens, for the blogs to identify a white messiah complex in film. The must not have noticed the 20 or so movies from recent years centered on the white teacher / coach coming to save the "urban youth."

We should totally do a themed movie night: magical negro meets the white messiah!
