Please. If you find a radio station like that around here, please send me an email. It depresses me that the entire recording industry now bases the "Billboard Charts" on sales, not the old fashioned combination of sales & air play. It all seems canned and formulaic. As if what we listen to is designed by someone at Sony Records and no one else has any say anymore. This is why I stopped listening to most radio.
It would be extremely delicious if recording industry 'charts' were based on sales, airplay, Mp3 downloads, and maybe youtube play? Can you think of others venues to add to the math? Maybe public payed gigs?
