May. 26th, 2003 07:37 pmDo not mistake this for some dramatic sign-off.
I’ve been on a LJ hiatus, in fact a hiatus from many things. I am a very negative person, but it seems I do in fact have a limit to how much negativity I can take. I am taking a little vacation from the news, idiots, and idiots in the news if I can. I’m going to try and look the other way and let the world have its problems without dwelling on the things I can’t change.
I’m also trying to: grow up, be less judgmental, be less of a dick, be more open to new info, less fixated on the past, less worried about what I and everyone else looks like, and basically just relax the circular logic circles a bit. Me. I’m trying to improve me.
So, I’ve been on and will probably continue to be on a drama, news, and LJ vacation. I’m not leaving for good, but I feel like the amount of time I was spending on these things was not proportional to the benefits I was drawing from them. I may still post if the mood strikes me, but don’t often monitor responses or my f-list.
