Ha! So in the post http://community.livejournal.com/paidmembers/22012.html they explained how to force all pages to display the way you want.

1. All colors - gone. Background = white, text = black, bars = gray. When I'm at work looking at LJ, it looks the same as work (mostly).
2. Art has been eliminated in the name of efficiency. No matter how much you think it's neety-keen that your LJ has light green text on yellow screens, all my views are now black times new roman text on a white background. Cute to you is just annoyingly hard to read to me. Want a pretty page with no substance? Go to myspace.
3. ALL PICTURES ARE BANNED unless I click on them. All your pictures, large and small, ten in a row or just one 2000x4000 pixel - gone. My f-list jumping left and right based on big picture posts? No longer.
4. All youtube and video ebeds are gone. Sure you have a right to embed instead of do links like polite people. I banned your bullshit - not that I, or anyone else, ever clicked on them anyway.
5. Mood icons = gone. Made your own pic your icon? Bye bye, I have no idea how silly you look.

If I could only figure out how to kill the side bar and make everything default to left justify...but wiping this stuff out even when I look at your pages? Wonderful.

I'm not sure I got it...I don't see that option under either style or customize style.

sorry I misunderstood you at first. There might be a different style with the user icons on the right. OR you could pay off someone who knows CSS well and have them do an override for you.

Really? I'm actually in a good mood - perhaps when things are going well I'm less apt to censor myself. When I feel like I just lost my job in the mall food court, I tend to watch how I act a lot more closely.

Today my f-view was wacked most of the day by someone who posted pictures so you had to scroll a full screen over to see what the other 50 people wrote...

on my style the following options are listed:
Show Userpics on Entries on your Friends Page
Show Userpic on the Entry page
Show Userpics on Comments

So that would mean only the buttons would be on the left... almost but not quite what you wanted.

Yea, I hate that, too. I have the settings so that pictures over a certain size won't load. Decreases the possibility of unexpected porn, too.

Er, edited...didn't get it, my options are similar but different.
Show link underline
Display your userpic with your entries
Display the edit, memory, next/previous, etc icons on the entry view
Toggle to show the memory, edit, etc icons on the Entry View page.
Use custom form elements

but now that I think about it, I do kinda need/use icons. Hmm.
