I forgot that I was with a couple of promiscuous looking girls, when some aggressive frat-boy types made advancements...I had forgotten this entirely until tonight when an old friend said
"I'll never forget you from that night those fuckwads approached us,
and you said "...or I'll tear your fucking throats out"
I actually barely remember the incident, but I remember the impression it left - an off the cuff remark (made with sincerity) has followed me for YEARS
I'm willing to stand the judgment of my peers. I appreciate the memory of my friends and enemies (so few) combined. I think we all should be judged by the sum of our actions. Tonight that feels like a good judgment.
