Fuck. Yeah.
I've been abusing that emphasis by putting a period after every word, haven't I? More importantly, I squatted 275. I only got it 3 times, but I went way down and...I squatted 275. I weigh like 145 (still, grr). So, that's a lot for me. And I am pleased. I will squat 3 plates and it won't be a terribly long time before I do. Then I'm going to crack walnuts with my ass cheeks.
I still deny that I'm an attorney - I really don't practice law per se, just admin hearings, but I have no problem bragging about my paltry gym experience.
Bench was 185 at 8 times again, but I may have had another tucked away in there. Slowly but slowly I'm coming up. According to some online calc I can already bench 225. I'd rather hit 10 on 185 before I do, for no reason whatsoever. I also dipped with 55lbs on for 20 reps for the first time.
YOU KNOW THE HARDEST PART OF LIFTING WEIGHTS? MATH!

This is both hilarious and extremely poignant. Doing the whole "(X - 45) / 2" on the fly in my head when grabbing plates should get easier, but it doesn't.
