I live for the obvious. Well, it's harder on the diaphram, I didn't realize I was doing it that way until I got panty enough to want to, and in boxing/fighting opening your mouth to breathe can lead to problems so you practice a lot with nose-breathing or mouthguards in. I guess the other idea is that if I can do it nose-breathing I can do more otherwise. I wasn't sure I could do 10 minute miles at all, so the whole experience was a pleasant surprise (I haven't been on a treadmill in years, just running outside).

Mostly just because I could.

Hey it's not a 7 minute mile, but I'm still kinda happy that I did it - I really was not able to a few years ago. It's nice when you see how you've improved.
