Is this friend over 30? Is this friend straight, married, popping puppies now? 30 is a completely imaginary line. The level of personal success, achievement, and financial stability required to make a relationship last past the 4 or 5 year mark, much less "marriage" has changed.
Besides...the more I figure out about myself, the choosier I have to be. It is all a matter of scale.
