Crap! I'm doing well! In-terjections, show excitement, or emotion...They're generally set apart from a sentence - by an ex-cla-ma-tion point; or by a comma if the feeling's not as strong.

I got an email at school that some late exam grades where in, and they had changed the rankings slightly. I checked, and my 3.28 is now 1/100th of a point from graduating with honors - currently at 3.29. So, I can't really slack even though it's very unlikely I'll go up rather than down. In fact, throughout law school my gpa in the spring semester has been lower than in the fall. Still, hard not to try. Bastards.

Eating vitamins won't improve your health, in fact, studies are showing that taking some supplements are correlated with a 5% decrease in lifespan. Now that's funny. No negative effects are linked with just eating healthy food to begin with?

This country would be great if it weren't for all the Americans! Study finds that immigrants are far less likely to be criminals than native-born USians. Take that, anti-immigrant arguments! They also have conclusive proof that they are not "taking jobs from white folks." Now you can argue with the job data, though I suspect you'll lose - but the incarceration rate differences are huge and obvious. My solution, my new policy argument, is to start deporting native-born USians to address our crime problem. More immigration means less jails!

It worked for England... and now look at Australia! Originally populated by exiled English criminals. And marsupials.

In all sincerity, good luck with that 100th of a point. You deserve it. I've always hated that they're so stuck to those tiny numbers and how much difference a plus or a minus sign can make when it comes to calculating GPA. The whole thing is really aggravating.

I'd complain more but we're all held to the same standard. I feel like I deserve it for effort, but while I have used effort - it would not be fair to reward me for effort alone if my scores do not meet the levels of my peers.

Of course, the end of that article has people suggesting that it's difficult to determine whether the study you're citing is statistically valid.

Not that I disagree with the whole "eat well to begin with" theory.

They must have had one hell of a time picking out the junk science - that new age medical stuff is full of hokey pseudo-science.
