(no subject)

I just got back from my interview and I don't care how I did.
That said, I think it went absolutely brilliantly. I liked the Director and seemed to hit it off great. I got the very quick impression that our management style is 100% compatible. I had perfect answers to all of her questions, and managed to elaborate w/o getting insanely off track while doing so. I could not have done better. I don't know if that will equate into a job, but I feel very positive about the experience. Of course it seems when I thought I bombed I did well enough to be called back, so if this time I think I did well I probably bombed! They will call and tell me yay or nay by the end of this week.

After the interview I did thai lunch with my friend, also nice to play a little catch up.

I counted: I own 2 dark patterned suits, 1 pinstriped suit, 1 light tan suit (summery!), and a black suit (meetings or funerals?)

Good luck!

I just threw an application in for a GS position I'm kinda, sorta qualified for. I assume I will hear NOTHING back, ever, just like the other 4,729 times I've applied for federal jobs.

Seriously, I have never ever heard anything back.

It takes a lot of looking. When I was applying for work last time, I sent out about aps a week. This one was odd because I had someone tell me about the opening.

Those KSA things are discouraging, but once you write a few you can just cut and paste.

Yeah, you usually hear nothing.

Yay you! I'm sure you did great. :)

Mmm thai.

If you have pinstriped you need the pinstriped chucks.
