D00d! Thanks for the tip on the PBS series, I just set it up to record on Tivo. I read about half of the book a few years ago, I just couldn't make it through the very detailed and dry section on plant seed distribution/germination and gave up. Should have stuck it out though, it was v. interesting. He has a new book out called Collapse about why some great civilizations collapsed.
