vicarzSo last night I need to detox, and it's been since before the LSAT that I even went to a club, so I hit Nation. Jose’s impression:
The music didn’t suck until about midnight, when the synth pop sets started. I did get to dance to DePeche and Gruesome Twosome, and that was nice. Weird crowd – damned brought many old-schoolers out yet there was a strong showing of kids. Explain this to me: how does Jay recognize me and know what I drink? I'm happy if I remember my lover's name. Does that necessarily mean I'm a drunk? Psyche’s vinyl outfit was friggin delightful! You go girl! Way to wear that dental dam!
I saw the Damned…by accident. I started wandering and thought the Damned was an early show and over before I arrived. Well, not only were they on but somehow I wandered into the concert hall – oops! I wound up seeing the Damned for free! I bought the shirt, but I feel so creepy now. I was joking about ‘just buy the shirt’ and well that’s about what I did.
In the pit I saw that girl from my boxing class. Whew. I said hi and she didn’t even remotely recognize me (lucky thing I knew the friend she was talking to or she would have thought I was some kind of creep). I reminded her where I saw her and it all came together. < giggle >
Today in the office they were stunned to find out I was 10 years older than they thought. If only they saw me 8 hours ago…It’s a lovely rainy day to be in the office. See? I can babble about nothing too! Babble burble bru-ha-ha, ballyhou - it's only talk. Cheap talk. Conversation, cliches, these are words with a c this time...(listened to King Crimson in my stoner dayze...)
