I had a 4wd at one point. I loved it. I covered it with snow when I could, and the rest of the time it was usually covered in mud. I even had a hitch for towing stuff. It came in handy for road trips and camping. But that's the thing...I used it for it's original purpose. NOT because it was fashionable to drive. I gave it up cause it was leased, and got the rear wheel drive, not going anywhere in the snow car I have now. I miss it. I admit that freely. But I do agree about the assholes on the road right now. Fuck 'em. once the snow is gone...they'll be paying out the nose for gas just to get around. Ha!
As for being snowed in, I am grateful for having Phil here with me. And it doesn't look as if he's going anywhere for a while. We're having coffee, and laughing at the situation. But we're jealous...you have Guiness!
