This meme really caught on: "I want everyone who reads this to ask me 2 questions. Any 2, no matter how personal, dirty, private, or random. I have to answer them honestly. In turn, you don't have to do a damn thing."
Here's my version:
Everyone who reads this already knows that if they wanted to ask me something, anything, no matter how personal, dirty, private, or random, they already could through email, on the phone, or...god forbid...in person. I reveal so much naturally you probably have no questions. If you didn't care enough about the personal subject to ask someone in person, it would be strange to ask about it in public print. Such a display could only mean that the person posing the question was more intersted in seeing public disclosure than knowing the answer to the question. As it is, I generally answer questions honestly, directly, and in great detail. In return, 'askers' don't have to do a thing, but they typically do as most personal disclosures are either reciprocated or result in great discomfort. People who reveal personal information w/o prompting similarly make people uncomfortable. Thanks for sharing. Truth or dare is just so sophomore year of college.

You know what? I'm just no LJ fun. Spoilsport!
(I'm playing - please don't misinterpret this as a rant or personal attack. I kinda like the memes sometimes, but I have a biologically wired need to mock).

Jose, I have only ONE question for you:

What in HELL are you doing up already on a Saturday morning?

Oh, wait. Never mind.

"Truth or dare is just so sophomore year of college."

I liked that part - as opposed to High School references (99.99% of lj readers have had at least some Hight School education ... hopefully) some people may actually view that as a compliment;)

Also don't forget if we weren't drama (in the theater sense) whores (in every sense;)) we wouldn't post to semi-public blogs in the first place;)

I think the best part was that I swear I saw some people whose questions were "Do you hate me? If so why?" - and got answers that pretty much said - yep - hate you. The best part was they then said, "This probably isn't the best place to talk about why". Although it is a good place to tell the world you hate someone;) Even more amusing they both had each other listed as friends. Now having someone on your friends list doesn't mean too much, but having people you really hate on your friends list seems strange;)

Internet theatrics - 15 minutes of fame turns into 15 megs of fame;)

Sigh...I was supposed to go to Apex last night (aka badlands) for a GALLA function (Gay law student GMU thingy) but I have so much homework to do that a 2-3 hour break wasn't feasible. I might run by chairo, but it's very unlikely - I have a major paper/project due this week, so it has to be done by Sunday.

I am up studying, and was studying until about 11:30 pm last night. I was delayed when I found old pics of ex's and god all nostalgic and weird last night.

I've never understood the fame thing, from LJ to talk shows. Fame is a liability, and if you were to be known wouldn't you rather be known for something constructive to a few than a blithering twit to millions?

I agree completely. Ironically I love theater, playing, acting etc. I would never want to be famous on any level. The main thing is good or bad, when your famous everyone knows a "false" you. Just the slivers the sound bites can represent. And even worse one slip-up (think Clinton and Lewinsky) can follow you for life. Most people do idiotic things in their lives. Some more frequently than others. And to be able to move on in life is a good thing. Famous people never have that chance. A Michael Jackson, OJ Simpson, Clinton, or Kobe Briant "guilty" or not will never be forgotten. If they weren't famous "guilty" or not most people would never know.

I don't care what people think, but I am interested. And fame kills the chance to make first impressions. If I want to be a playful idiot in one environment, and be a serious hardcore workaholic in another - I would prefer those environments aren't forced to collide by the unrelenting shadow of fame. I like the ability to choose my first impressions and not have one pounded into everyone I meet by previous fame.

I just posted it cause I was bored. Although I know people can ask me whatever in person or in print, it's always interesting to see what the feedback is when prompted. I mean, how often does someone walk up to you that you may not know very well and randomly ask you personal questions? The thing about LJ, at least my friends list, is that I don't personally know everyone; some of these people I shall never meet, so, hey, why not?

Oh I'm just mocking this for sport - I don't really mind memes or the practice. Just because I rip it up doesn't mean I don't like it...yes I'm confusing...

Hahahhhahah I loved that entry from awhile ago where you posted the fake "validate me" meme. I don't completely avoid meme's but generally I do. Yours is by far my favorite LJ that I found randomly, and probably the only one whose posts I actually read entirely rather than skim. I think it's because you have a tendency to commentate/observe rather than just list what happened to you (which is obviously only interesting if you know the people involved).

Aw thanks! You also have fun thought-out writing, though you're all mysterious and stuff :)
