Americans don't need to be "educated". That just wastes time and effort. All you need to know is how to make money. Learn how to sell worthless widget A to Stupid Sucker C for as much green as possible, climb the food chain and then blame the new guy for not convincing a smart consumer that he should buy something stupid/pointless/dumb, thinking that because it exists there must be a way to sell it.
And yeah, "patriotism" grows and shows when the victim is foreign. Some people call it racism, but patriotism is a good thing, so it is called that instead.
