Does anyone know how to prevent AIM from constantly making a folder called "filelib" in my "MyDocuments" folder?
You know, I make lazy government worker jokes too - but it gets tired. Yesterday I was talking to a republican woman who had purchased a house using inside connections, and was renovating it to resell it for a profit. That's all ethical, but she was 'on the clock' as 'helpdesk' at the time. So far, no problem. Then I mention I work for the government, and she jokes that I'm probably being paid for my time to talk to her under work at home ha ha. Uh, no I'm on leave studying for exams. She's the jackoff that's getting paid for not only goofing off, but taking a private profit while doing so. If she was government, she could be fired for what she did.
I don't like that split where what is acceptable for private sector is demonized for gov workers because "those are taxpayer dollars." Newsflash - I pay taxes too.
