So the condo guy called me and said that I wasn't crazy when I reported I thought I heard water splashing in my neighbor's apt above my kitchen - I was just misdirected. It turns out a cold water pipe developed a leak behind the wall of my kitchen. He called to let me know there were men working in my unit, and that they were still debating taking the cabinet out or just drilling a hole through the back of it to tear out the wall...
Well I now don't have water and am working late since I really just don't have a home to return to per se. I don't mind much: 1) I hardly cook anymore, 2) I was thinking of remodeling the kitchen anyway. Depending on how wrecked things are I may just blow some extra cash to pay the difference between repair and remodeling. We'll see how it goes.
I think for the first time this summer I might blow off the gym / boxing today. I have to finish the summary judgment that I still haven't issued. Clock ticking, water not running.
