Wow - I have a full day lined up! I'm getting stuff done and hanging out with bunches of friends - but please, while you enjoy your day off (for those of us who get one) please don't forget that this is to honor the accomplishments and grieve the recent death of a great man. Ray Charles.

I'm a tomboy junkie. I've just noticed, as I try to guess what in life is and is not important, that most of my good friends are intelligent, strong, independent women. Most of them are/were tomboys. Most of them do not get along with other women.

I feel like some sort of twisted fag-hag.

Yep, I was a tomboy. I used to say I didn't get along with other women, but since then I've found a lot of other intelligent, strong, independent women I do get along well with.
