This job closes in 3 days and it would be a great way for me to get a 15
https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/403091600but...I read and re-read the damn thing and it's highly LR related. The EEO/merit items are footnotes in the position, while they talk about varying degrees of LR issues particularly negotiation.
Issue? My old boss is there as a chief negotiator, and his 2nd in command is also there. There will be no better opportunity for me to start in a new organization with a built-in reputation and respect, knowledge of the players, and knowledge of the likely issues. It is almost perfect for me.
Almost.
I fucking hate LR. I could give shit less about union, union busting, union squabbling...it's so incredibly droll. I love what I do now, and while I deal with union crap now, it's not 100% of my job.
If this job was more EEO/MSPB based I'd apply. It is a promotion and it is a larger organization. I also know they let him work at home 100%.
I don't think I'm going to apply. I should; I should apply and see what happens. Normally this is the answer, but if my old boss finds out I apply, am offered the job, and don't take it? It could be damaging.
